Archetypes

The world is burning and I’m
in a club I’m also on drugs because
anything you buy into you
start to believe. I’m hiding
behind being American.
And my Religion is
apostacy, sex and vomit.
Anger is something
you’re baptized into.
I used to think there were
answers in the Moon.
But it was just another
Passive God.
So, inside another temple you have to pay to get into
I am dancing like a prayer.
and I really don’t belong
in other places. I’m just another American
prepared to die poor and
surrounded by opulence.
