Your Love Lies

Sometimes I feel like such a stranger in your arms
You've only let me see a small part of who you are
But who are you really?
I'm not quite sure yet
Please tell me who you are.
I want to know your hopes and dreams and fears
And I don't want to spend a lifetime questioning who I'm truly with?
It's unfair to only know a snippet of who I've fallen in love with.
What if all I fell in love with was an illusion
A figment of my imagination to convince myself that someone could be this amazing.
Only to find out it was all a lie.
You were a lie.
Our love was a lie.
But my love for you was always true.
Was I not worth telling the truth too?
