I’ve Heard All The Sayings

I’ve heard of sayings, one being, that Time will heal all wounds

although I think my vision might be impaired after everything said and done

and it’s you who slits the silence with your crinkling tin can hands

and from what I understand

you let shit hit the fan

but the fan hits back

in fact, it caught you with those tin cans that you thought were dipped in gold

might I add that you are not in touch with reality anymore

because you keep denying the fact until the cows come home

and at this point I don’t even care if you make it back

so there you go making a run for your drug money

it’s kind of funny

a pendulum of a man

a splitting image, and by that I mean a two face

please understand I’m just trying to keep you up to my pace

I know your heart dwells and it has stories to tell

maybe you feel that it’s not in your job description

but those thoughts include your well being, so hell, just speak it
